Key West Day Trip from Miami with Optional Activites

Loved the team on the bus ! Gave good suggestions and ran a everything on time ....fun time had by all

This was a great day trip from Miami Beach. The tour guide and driver were knowledgable and hotel pick-up was convenient. The glass boat tour was enjoyable and Key West businesses enforced wearing a mask. The island was relaxed and very laid back. However, people on the bus were not wearing a mask. If this cannot be controlled then the tour should reduce the bus capacity to 30% and take tempertures before getting on the bus. Also the tour guide should not engage in conversation with passengers not wearing a mask even if they are eating. I would not recommend the bus tour during the pandemic without proper precautions.

We liked the 6 hours we spent in key west. Had fun with parasailing. Our tour guide Tamara is really nice and knowledgeable. Its worth the money.

Our tour guide Tamara was fun and informative. While the tour operator Gray Line Miami was wonderful, Viator was extremely difficult to work with. The snorkeling portion was cancelled due to weather, but Viator refused to refund me the full amount of the add on. After a lot of back and forth they agreed to half. I would suggest saving yourself a headache and contacting Gray Line Miami directly to book this trip.

Key west was definitely worth it, the ride over there was entertaining and informative. You might want to bring a sweater as the AC is running on full blast. Overall worth the price of admission, activities can be had at a cheaper price from the bus.

The ride to and from was average. The tour guide Orlando was helpful and informative. The actual bus driver kept stopping all of a sudden. He wasn’t the best driver. Overall it was a good tour and time for the price.

We did the tour Miami-Key West. The guide, Orlando, was the worst guide I've ever had the unfortune of coming across. It started by him being unwilling to answer our questions after telling us the options of different activities we could do in the island and asking "any questions?" When me and another guy raised our hands to ask, he said "just come find me at breakfast" and ignored us. Then I was the 1st person on the bus to tell him I wanted to buy the glass boat tour and paid immediately $100 cash. He tells us to be at the dock at 1.50pm,we were, and when we arrive they tell us they don't have tickets for us and the tour was sold out. Orlando was there and instead of trying to figure out some solution just told us he messed up the number of guests he had reserved and gave us the money back as if it wasn't a big deal. We had this 1 day in Key West, it's not like we'll have another chance to do this tour, so we ended up with no boat tour. Then at the end of the day we were running a little late and called him to let him know. He told us to hurry and obviously we did and arrived 10min late but he had already left without so much as a warning phone call back. We ended up hopping on another bus from the same company that luckily was still there. But honestly after screwing up with the boat tour he should not only have waited or at least communicated that we could catch another bus, or we should have been given a partial refund for his incompetence! If you want to go from Miami to Key West just rent a car. Divided by at least 2 people is gonna cost about the same and it'll save you almost 2 hours in an uncomfortable bus (yes the drive should be about 3.5hours but on the bus it was over 5) and the inconvenience of being serviced by totally useless rude staff. Oh and the last thing is the bus driver was a total nuisance, he would stop so abruptly at the traffic lights that we all got thrown and there were bags and backpacks sliding around. And of course Orlando didn't even think to check on the passengers. Truly awful.

Great information provided by the tour guide. Our driver, Lucas, did a great job. The pickup and time on the bus in the morning was quite lengthy but the ride back to our hotel was less than three and a half hours. They do make one stop in Key Largo on the way to Key West for breakfast. We had six hours in Key West. My only complaint about the whole trip was that the restroom smelled bad on the trip back.

This is a very inexpensive way to get to the keys. However the the restroom was "broken" the air conditioner was "broken" and our restroom stop was at a gas station with only one bathroom and one cashier for 42 people.

The “infinity” long bridge, Key West Island (will not consider the trolley next time) and especially Hemingway’s house and museum. Good quality of live music, food, great vacation atmosphere! Too much to explore in such a short period of time! We will go back, for sure!
