Start your full-day tour with pickup at your hotel in Sedona. The drive to the Navajo Nation takes you through Oak Creek Canyon via a National Scenic Byway. View ancient volcanoes and the aptly named rock formations of the Painted Desert en route to Antelope Canyon.

On arrival, follow a Navajo guide into the narrow, twisting sandstone cliffs of the 120-foot-deep (27-meter) canyon, where sunlight descends in dramatic shafts. Watch it illuminate the walls of the slot canyon in shifting yellow, orange, and violet hues, and learn to best capture the vivid scene on camera.

Make a stop at the Cameron Trading Post, where Zuni, Hopi, and Navajo artists sell silver jewelry, pottery, and other artisan crafts. Eat a provided boxed lunch at Glen Dam with a majestic view of Lake Powell on one side and a glimpse into the depths of Glen Dam Gorge on the other. Hike up to Horseshoe Bend for dramatic views of the Colorado River from above, then continue on with return transport to your hotel.

Canyon X in Antelope Valley was amazing. The tour guide on the reservation clearly explained how this beautiful area was formed, millions of years ago. Our tour guide for the entire trip was also a walking encyclopedia.

The experience was amazing. Driver was awesome. He knew exactly what we’d want to see to enjoy the most out of trip. However, nobody wore a mask. Even with people asking comments like “I’m testing how strong my immune system is”. It was gross as they were dry heaving and clearing their throats for the whole bus ride.

Sheldon was an excellent guide with a lot of knowledge and maintained the three hour drive very entertaining. The antelope experience was more then we expected and the Horseshoe Bend was everything we expected. Must see.
I wish everyone could have this experience.

The entire day was amazing. I can’t think of a better guide than JR Ralston and I have traveled all over the world. He is a wealth of knowledge from Sedona to northern Arizona. He will give you as much information as you like. We heard about Hollywood actors who he has known since he was a boy to his relationships with different Native American tribes to his vast knowledge about geology. The sites were beyond beautiful and a must see. Words are hard to describe the awe we felt. I’m grateful to JR for giving us his valuable time, the Navajo Nation for allowing us to visit their land and for being able to experience these gorgeous natural wonders.

Worth it!

This is a LONG day trip, but it is so worth it! There isn't a ton of hiking, but some. And some that was a bit more challenging (Antelope Canyon X), but the beauty of land and the canyon makes it well worth the day. Great people, I was the only solo traveler, our main tour guide, Kristin was great, and our Canyon tour guide, Jane, was fantastic!
